(October 11th, 2014)-PIONEER: Despite playing at a high level, the junior varsity girls of North Central lost matches against both Edgerton and Patrick Henry on Saturday.
Playing Edgerton first, the two teams were evenly matched. The first game saw the Lady Eagles drop a close match, 22-25. Not relenting, the girls of North Central kept their level of intensity high, but still lost game 2 23-25.
Patrick Henry also went against the Eagles in the tri-match. Much like their first match, North Central fell in game 1 22-25. The Patriots pulled away late in the second game, handing North Central a 19-25 loss.
Peggy Michael recorded 5 aces on the day for North Central. Teammate Kelsie Sutton made 7 kills. Makayla Rizor had 7 digs in the loss as well.
