North Central Lady Eagles Fall Within The Blast Radius Of The Edon Lady Bombers

EDON – The North Central Lady Eagles went heads up against the Edon Lady Bombers on September 27. Edon came out on top, winning in straight sets, 25-15, 25-23, and 25-15.

Sydney Stoll was 25/25 setting with 4 assists, and 21/21 serving with 3 aces, 22 digs and 17 kills for the Lady Bombers, while Alex Kiess went 41/41 setting with 41 assists and 9/9 serving with 9 digs. Kennedy Brigle was 12/12 serving with 10 digs, Andrea Headley was 10/11 serving with an ace and 17 digs, and Kaitlin Chrisman was 7/7 serving. Kaylyn Brigle was 8/9 serving with an ace, Becky Fisk had 4 kills and Hannah Gutting a pair of kills and a quartet of blocks.

Shaylee Oyer put up an incredible effort in the loss, recording a team-high 16 kills while also counting 10 assists and 6 digs. McKayla Swank led the team with 17 assists. She also had 1 block and 3 digs. Brittany Laney had 6 digs in the contest while Tiana Wheeler had 2 kills and 1 assist. Jazzmin Horn scored 1 ace and 3 kills while Bralyn Wyrick drove home 2 aces, scored 10 kills, and racked up 6 digs. Ashton Huffman counted 3 digs of her own while Abbey Litzenberg had 2 kills and 2 digs in the contest.
