PIONEER: April 17– The combination of North Central pitching from the mound behind Brandon Turner and Jordan Reeves at home aligned for a prefect no-hit game over Fayette on April 17.

On the mound for the Eagles, Branden Turner opened the game, going 3 full innings, striking out 6 batters while allowing no walks. With the win to his credit, Turner has now thrown for back-to-back shutouts for North Central. Jordan Reeves came into the game with the Eagles up 10-0 at the top of the 4th, and threw for perfection the remainder of the way, setting down three batters, giving up no walks for the final 2 innings as the North Central Eagles closed the game out in the 5th at 11-0. Credit to North Central’s effort in the field for the support and effort in walking off the field with the perfect game.

Offensively for North Central, Dylan Hutchinson led the way with a huge afternoon, bringing in 3 RBI’s on the day behind a home run and a single. Colton Pilmore and Clayton Ferguson also had big bats in the game, with Pilmore connecting for 3 singles resulting in 2 RBI’s, while Ferguson connected on a single driving in 2 runs.
