<p>PRESS RELEASE – State Wildlife Officer Adam Stachler, assigned to <a href=”https://thevillagereporter.com/hunter-fined-300-for-illegal-truck-hunt-in-fulton-county/”><a href=”https://thevillagereporter.com/murder-mystery-to-be-held-april-18-at-museum-of-fulton-county/”>Fulton County</a></a>, received a <a href=”https://ohiodnr.gov/buy-and-apply/hunting-fishing-boating/hunting-resources/turn-in-a-poacher” target=”_blank”>Turn In a Poacher (TIP)</a> call about an individual who killed a Canada goose out of season.</p>
<p>Officer Stachler identified a suspect and determined the individual had shot the goose with an unlawful implement outside of the waterfowl hunting season. Two citations were issued, and the suspect was ordered to pay $150 in fines plus court costs.</p>
<p>The firearm was forfeited to the <a href=”https://ohiodnr.gov/discover-and-learn/safety-conservation/wildlife-management/wildlife-officers” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”><a href=”https://thevillagereporter.com/ohio-house-passes-the-innocence-act-protecting-children-from-adult-online-content/”>Ohio Division of Wildlife</a></a>.
