The Northwest Ohio Junior Tour, powered by Under Armour and started by Jeremy and Cassy Ruth, is in its second year of operation.
The tour started in the Spring of 2021 and operates in the Spring and Fall. The tour consists of 6–9-hole events throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Players ages range from 6 to 18 years old with the ranges being split into groups 6-8, 9-11, 12-14 and 15-18.
Each event the player participates in allows them to accumulate points for the place they finish in.
Those points go towards their season total. At the end of the season, the top 6 golfers in each age division qualify for their National Tournament hosted in Florida.
Some of the past National Tournaments these past few season have taken place at the PGA National, Disney World, Saddlebrook Resort and Sandestin Golf Resort in Destin, Florida for 2023.
At the National Event, the winners from this tour play against other winners from the 38 tours nationwide. These kids will be competing for the title of the Under Armour All American Golfer.
On Sunday, September 18th the Tour held its first event at the Woodlawn Golf Course in Adrian, Michigan.
