NWOAL FOOTBALL: Liberty Center Handles Delta, 39-0

Liberty Center 39, Delta 0

LIBERTY CENTER – Liberty Center extended its regular season unbeaten streak to 43 games following a 39-0 shutout victory over Route 109 archrival Delta in Northwest Ohio Athletic League play.

Tigers’ quarterback Kaden Kreinbrink completed 7 of 9 passes for 163 yards and a pair of scores to Isaiah Badenhop (11 yds) and Jaxton Lawniczak (65 yards). Badenhop also scored on a 70-yard punt return in the second quarter.


Liberty Center got rushing touchdowns from Garrison Kruse (four yards) and Thomas Mohler (four yards). Max Walker tallied a 24-yard field goal for the Tigers (8-0, 5-0 NWOAL).

Mohler had 58 yards on nine carries, and Kruse added 46 yards on 10 totes for Liberty Center.

Emric Friess was 5 of 15 passing for 84 yards leading Delta with all five of his passes going to Vincent Martinez. Gunner Taylor led the Panthers with 36 yards on the ground on three carries.


Both teams return to NWOAL action on Friday. Delta (4-4, 2-3 NWOAL) hosts Evergreen in a must win game for the Panthers’ post-season playoff hopes while Liberty Center (8-0, 5-0 NWOAL) entertains Wauseon (1-7, 1-4 NWOAL).
