Holiday City Village Council met on Thursday, June 17 for their monthly business meeting. Council voted to approve the revised Annual Appropriations, the payment of bills, and the minutes of the previous meeting.
They noted that Holiday City will mark it’s twenty fourth year in existence on June 24, 2021.
Council was informed that potential legislative action in Illinois might affect them as they purchase 1 megawatt of power from a Coal Fired plant which will possibly be affected.
Following the hearing of reports from Clerk and Administrator, Council went into two Executive Sessions, one to consider the purchase of property for public purpose and the other to consider employment of public employee or official.
No action was taken in either session and the meeting adjourned.
