WAUSEON: February 6, 2014 – The Lady Patriots of Patrick Henry were in Indian Country on February 6, hoping to land an NWOAL ambush on the Lady Indians of Wauseon. The Lady Pats found out quickly that they needed bigger guns to get the job done.
The visitors were able to battle to a draw in the first and fourth periods, but the Tribe took control in the second and third, going on 13-9 and 17-14 runs to send Patrick Henry home with a 53-45 loss.
Natalie Koenig rained down a game-high 14 for the 10-9 / 5-2 Lady Indians, with Maddie Richer adding 13 and Sariah Yackee 11. Haley Archibeque put up 10 points, Sally Frank added 4, and Anna Marshall landed a free throw.
