AYERSVILLE: February 1, 2014 – The Pettisville Blackbirds went on the road to tangle with the Ayersville Pilots, but their offense took the early bus home. After jumping out to an early 16-14 lead over their hosts, the Birds were able to muster only 19 points for the remainder of the game as the Pilots rallied to take a 52-35 decision.
Jeremy Mann posted 12 points to lead 7-8 / 5-1 Pettisville, with Noah Miller, Josh Liechty and Jacob Reyes each getting 5 points, and Korben Rychener and Austin Dykstra each adding a deuce.
