PETTISVILLE: January 17, 2014 – The Pettisville Blackbirds remained atop of the BBC standings by fending off a late Fayette Eagles’ surge to secure a 42-34 win in The Birdcage.
Korben Rychener hit for 14 points to lead all scorers for the ‘Birds. Austin Dykstra and Tate Kauffman each had 8 points, and Josh Liechty, Jeremy Mann and Noah Miller each posted 4 points.
Jerad Seiler led Fayette with 10 points. Grant Schaffner hit for 7 points, Wade Burkholder and Chandler Sanford each had 6 points, and Tristen Bates had 5.
