PETTISVILLE BOARD OF EDUCATION: Board Approves Of New Agriculture Education Teachers

The Pettisville Board of Education held their meeting on Monday, March 20th. Board members first moved to approve the following items as part of a consent agenda.

The minutes from the meeting held on February 2023. Financial reports as presented by the Treasurer and payment of bills as submitted.

Personnel recommendations were also approved as well as the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school year calendars.

As part of the treasurer’s report, the board moved to approve an advance repayment of $350,000 from the Permanent Improvement Fund to the General Fund.

A transfer was then also approved in the amount of $300,000 to go from the General Fund to the Permanent Improvement Fund. The following Resolutions were then passed.


A resolution to approve a certificate of Project Completion and approval for the president and treasurer to execute the certificate and close the Project Construction Fund and dispose of the remaining funds in accordance with Ohio Revised Code, Section 3318.12.

A resolution returning locally donated funds from USAS Fund 010 to USAS Fund 004 and transferring interest earnings relating to the local share of the co-funded OFCC project from USAS Fund 010 to USAS Fund 003.

Administrative reports were then heard before the board moved to approve Megan Drake and Whitney Short as Agriculture Education Teachers effective on July 1st, 2023.


With no other business to attend to, the meeting was adjourned.
