(October 2nd, 2014): In Junior High Buckeye Border Conference action, the Lady Blackbirds of Pettisville took on the North Central Lady Eagles. It was the Blackbirds who took both matches on the evening, achieving victory in convincing fashion.
For the North Central Seventh Graders, they just couldn’t stay with the Blackbirds. With a 13-25 loss in game 1, the Lady Eagles weren’t able to rebound. They lost game 2 7-25.
Pettisville’s Eighth Graders performed just as well as their Seventh Grade teammate. After taking the first set 25-11, the Lady Blackbirds rode the momentum of that win to a 25-9 win in game 2.
