(February 16th, 2015) – WEST UNITY: Pettisville’s defense proved to be a force in their freshmen squad’s victory over Hilltop in the first round of the Buckeye Border Conference tournament.

The Blackbirds took the contest over the Cadets 52-11.

In the first quarter, the game was close. Each team struggled offensively, leading to a 5-5 tie at the conclusion of the opening period. The boys from Fulton County pulled away in the third quarter. The put up 20 points, while again giving up just 2 to Hilltop. To close out the contest, Pettisville went on a 13-2 run.
