(February 21st, 2015) – NAPOLEON: The Indian boys performed admirably in the Sectional match set in their home alley of River City Bowl-A-Way lanes.
The Wauseon squad took home sixth place against a wide field.
Nic Kearney led his Indians with a 578 score, with a high of 214 in game two. Peyten Shadbolt also had a great afternoon, using a 200 in game one to propel his total score to 546. Noah Stickley added a 528 as well.
Going into the Baker Games, Wauseon had a colletive score of 2603.
Powered by a 245 in game three, a 221 in game five, and a 220 in game two, the Indians had a strong showing in the team oriented style of bowling. With a 163 in game one, a 175 in game four, and a 161 in game six, the Indian boys totaled an 1185 in the Baker Games.
That gave Wauseon a total score of 3788. While that wasn’t quite enough to qualify them for Districts as a unit, Kearney did earn the right to advance as an individual.
