The Pettisville High School presented Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man”. The musical was held on Thursday, April 4th, Friday, April 5th, and Saturday, April 6th at 7:30 p.m. with an additional showing on Sunday, April 7th at 2:30 p.m.
“The Music Man” revolves around a fast-talking traveling salesman named Harold Hill. Harold manages to con the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boy’s band.
Harold vowed to organize the band himself, with one slight problem, he doesn’t have any idea how to use an instrument.
Harold’s plans were to then take the money and leave town. These plans were put to an end though after falling for the librarian named Marian. She manages to change Harold into a more respectable person by the end of the show.
Casting for the show was done well with each of the actors playing their part. Parts with singing and dancing were done extremely well, with costumes and set designs being done just as well.
Seats were filled, including meal tables towards the front. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Pettisville School’s “The Music Man”.
