Pettisville Junior High Emerge Victorious Against Tough Hilltop Team

(October 9th, 2014): A match of epic proportions took place on the smallest of stages, as the Seventh Grade war between Pettisville and Hilltop consisted of three close sets.

Game 1 was taken by the Lady Cadets 25-22. Rebounding from the defeat, the girls from Pettisville battled back to take game 2 25-23. The third and decisive set was no less intense than the first two. The Lady Blackbirds took the set and the extremely close match 25-23.

The Eighth Grade Blackbirds improved to a perfect 10-0 in Buckeye Border Conference play by taking down their counterparts from Hilltop. Pettisville earned a 25-17 victory in game 1. The second set saw the Blackbirds pull away from the Lady Cadets, claiming a 25-13 win to win the match.
