(September 11th, 2014)-PETTISVILLE: The Pettisville Junior Varsity Squad improved to 2-0 in the BBC and 5-3 overall on Thursday, defeating the Eagles of Fayette in two hotly contested sets.
From the start, this match was a battle. Game 1 went back and forth between the two avian teams, but it was the Blackbirds who claimed the set 25-22. The second set was an even tighter contest. The girls of Pettisville barely slipped past the Lady Eagles, winning the game 26-24.
