Pettisville Lady Blackbirds Crush Swanton On The Road

SWANTON: April 8– The Pettisville Blackbirds hit the road on April 8, traveling to Swanton to take on the Lady Bulldogs in a final pre-conference tune up before BBC play. The Lady Blackbirds dominated Swanton, cruising to an easy 14-1 victory.

On the mound in the victory, Teagan Kauffman recorded the W, going 5 innings allowing 1 run on only 2 hits, while setting down 3 batters.

Offensively for the Lady Blackbirds, Amber Klopfenstein had a big day, slamming a triple and a single; Mallory Riegsecker recorded a double; Johanna Roth doubled and singled in the game while Jaelyn Rufenacht powered 3 singles in the win. Audra Klopfenstein, Sydney Purtee and Taylor D’Alelio each also hit for singles.
