Pettisville Lady Blackbirds Defeat North Central In Three Straight Sets

PETTISVILLE – The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds hosted the Lady Eagles on October 3, turning away North central by the scores of 25-4, 25-8 and 25-9.

Stephanie Hubby had 2 aces, 20 digs, with Emily Hubby adding an ace, 15 digs, and 13 kills. Yari Coronado contributed 7 digs, Sarah Christiansen posted 4 digs, Amber Klopfenstein had 6 digs, 4 kills and 2 blocks. Jordyn Pursel had 2 aces, 5 digs and 8 kills. Dana Fricke registered 2 aces, 2 digs, 15 kills and 2 blocks, Kate Kauffman had an ace, 5 digs, a kill and a blocked shot, Brooke Waidelich had 3 aces, 10 digs, and 2 kills in the match.

Cady Vandevoorde was 8-11 attacking and 7-8 serve receive with a kill and 3 digs for North Central, while Jaclyn Kinsman was 6-11 attacking, 5-5 serving and 23-23 setting with 4 assists and 3 kills, and Reece Cogswell was 10-11 attacking. Alyssa Swank went 3-5 attacking, 6-6 serving, and 9-9 setting with an assist; Jazzmin Horne was 3-3 serving, 4-6 serve receive, and 7-8 attacking with 3 kills and 9 digs, and Abigayle Litzenberg went 5-5 attacking with a kill and 3 digs.
