WAUSEON – The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds took a close 4-3 game in the fifth inning against Swanton and made it ‘un-close’ in the sixth. The Ladybirds blew up for eight runs in the home half of the sixth to open up the game, a contest that ended with Pettisville on top by a 12-4 score on April 9.
Delaney Nofziger allowed 4 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks for 2-3/0-1 Pettisville, mowing down 11.

Amber Klopfenstein had a double and a single for the Ladybirds, while Nofziger, Emily Hubby and Kaija Blosser each had a double. Stephanie Hubby, Kenzie Riegsecker and Olivia Wright added a single apiece to the offense.
