The Pike Delta York Board of Education met for its regular session on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call, and the adoption of the evening’s agenda.

The board approved the minutes from its September 17 regular meeting before moving on to correspondence from board members, the treasurer, and the superintendent.

Student of the Month recognitions followed, with one student from each grade level honored for their achievements. Recognized from the elementary school were Greysan Pribe (KG), Makenna Keeler (1st), Carson Tietje (2nd), Elba Snyder (3rd), and Amy Fejes (4th).

From the middle school, Sadie Rober (5th), Ivan Wheeler (6th), Asher Adkins (7th), and Lillian Sharp (8th) were recognized. High school honorees included Jovi Rychener (9th), Kacey Lamb (10th), Camden Winkler (11th), and Gunnar Avery (12th).

Building and department reports were then shared, including updates from the elementary, middle, and high school buildings, as well as the student services, curriculum and instruction, and technology departments.

Treasurer’s reports followed, with the board approving the Treasurer’s Report as presented, along with the five-year forecast and related financial documents.

The superintendent’s report included the approval of substitute custodial and bus aide positions, athletic supplemental resignations, and new athletic supplemental appointments.

Staff matters included the resignation of a classified employee, a certified salary revision for a teacher, and stipend approval for several staff members who attended behavior management training on September 27.

The board also approved the appointment of Ron Rouleau as a trustee for the Delta Public Library Board, a role he has held since 2010, with a new four-year term beginning January 1, 2026.

Multiple overnight trips for the high school and middle school wrestling teams were approved for competitions throughout the winter season.

A contract for special needs services with A&G Education Services, LLC, for the 2025–2026 school year was also approved.

Board discussion followed under items from individual members before the board entered executive session to address personnel and confidential matters. The meeting was adjourned following the executive session.
