Pioneer Library Announces Upcoming January Events

The Pioneer Branch Library will be holding After School Gaming from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, January 6. Gaming is open to all school-age children and their families. There are several different gaming systems available for kids to use. Board games, chess or checkers, Legos, and KNex are also offered for children to play. This gaming session will feature a video gaming and board game playoff! A nacho and cheese snack will be provided. Parents are asked to pick up their children several minutes prior to closing.

Take part in a Young Living Essential Oils Class on Winter Wellness at the Pioneer Branch Library on Tuesday, January 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Young Living Essential Oils consultant, Courtney Smith will lead a discussion on what Health Living essential oils to use during winter time. Participants will also make a healthy cleaning spray to take home. Class size is limited to 12 people.

On Friday, January 20 the Pioneer Branch Library will be holding Winter Olympics from 3:00 to 5:00 pm as an afterschool program! Show your Olympian skills in a candy cane relay, indoor skiing, curling, archery, hoops, a snowball fight, hockey, and a biathlon! Weather permitting, there will also be snow angel making and a snowman contest!
