FULTON COUNTY COMMON PLEAS
On Wednesday, February 17th, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court, a jury of 9 men and 3 women found Jacob N. Sloan, 23, of Lyons, OH, guilty of Domestic Violence, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and Felonious Assault, a Felony of the second degree. The jury deliberated approximately one hour before returning the guilty verdicts. The trial lasted one and one-half days. The case was prosecuted by Fulton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Paul H. Kennedy and the defendant was represented by Whitehouse attorney, Joseph Urenovitch. Judge James E. Barber deferred the sentencing and ordered a presentence investigation report. The defendant is being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. The charge was the result of an investigation conducted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
