FULTON COUNTY PROSECUTOR
A Delta man pled guilty on August 25, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Dale E. Silveous, Jr., 22, of 4549 Co Rd E, Lot 15, pled guilty to Reckless Homicide, a felony of the third degree, in connection with the October 22, 2014 death of Matthew Knierim. Mr. Silveous also pled guilty to Trafficking in Heroin, a felony of the fifth degree. Judge James E. Barber ordered the defendant referred to the Adult Probation Department for a pre-sentence investigation and report. Bond continued.
An Archbold woman was sentenced on September 3, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Melissa Bellman, 31, of 2001 S. Defiance St, previously pled guilty to Possession of Heroin. On August 5, 2014, she had heroin in her possession. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Ms. Bellman to 2 years of community control and ordered her to pay prosecution costs and appointed counsel fees, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances, serve 7 days in CCNO with credit for 2 days, successfully complete outpatient drug treatment, seek and maintain employment, and have her operator license suspended for 6 months with privileges for work and treatment. Failure to comply could result in Ms. Bellman spending 11 months in prison.
