ARCHBOLD, OHIO – Northwest State Community College recently celebrated the pinning of twenty-eight practical nursing graduates. Practical nursing is a one-year certificate program that includes lectures, labs and a supervised clinical experience in a health care facility. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Practical Nursing and upon successful completion, enter the workforce. After obtaining work experience, they may continue their education and pursue a degree in registered nursing.
