Pride Of Williams County Pageant Crowns New Queens For 2024

This year’s Pride of Williams County Pageant took place on Sunday, January 14th at 5:00 p.m. The event took place at the Edon Northwest High School and featured 20 Queens made up from the Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Montpelier, and Pioneer area.

These local area Queens had just won the title of Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, or Miss for their town, and were present to compete for the title of Miss Williams County for their age group.

The pageant went on through the evening and showcased the Queens winter wear, evening wear, volunteerism, talents, and more. By the end of the event, each contestant had given it their all. With everything all said and done, it was time to give out awards and crown this year’s new Williams County Queens.


For the Little Miss contestants, Little Miss Best Smile was awarded to Little Miss Pioneer Miriam Weible. The best hair award went to Little Miss Edon Kengington Carr. Little Miss Photogenic went to Little Miss Montpelier Campbell Shoup. Little Miss Congeniality went to Little Miss Bryan Arianah Shartzer. The Little Miss contestant with the highest Queen Scene Poster score was Little Miss Campbell Shoup.

The Little Miss contestant who scored the highest on the interview portion was Little Miss Pioneer Miriam Weible. The Little Miss Contestant who scored the highest during the onstage question portion of the pageant was Little Miss Pioneer Campbell Shoup. The Little Miss Volunteerism award went to Little Miss Edon Kensington Carr, along with the best-dressed award. Kensington Carr was then also named Little Miss Williams County 1st runner-up. The 2024 Little Miss Williams County was then awarded to Little Miss Campbell Shoup.

Next, on to the Junior Miss contestants. Junior Miss Pioneer was awarded the Junior Miss best smile award, best hair award, and an award for having the highest score for the onstage question portion. Junior Miss Photogenic went to Junior Miss Edgerton Serina Puente. Junior Miss Montpelier Tessa Fleurkens was awarded Junior Miss Congeniality, the volunteerism award, and an award for best personal interview.


Junior Miss Bryan received an award for the best Queen Scene poster score. Junior Miss Edon Cora Brigle was then awarded the best-dressed award before also being named the Junior Miss Williams County 1st runner-up. This year’s Junior Miss Williams County was then announced as Junior Miss Pioneer Emmi Burt.

The Teen Miss award portion was next, with Teen Miss Edon Clara Reitzel receiving the best smile award. The best hair award went to Teen Miss Edgerton Kaydance Hobeck. Teen Miss Montpelier Cianna Shoup was given the Teen Miss Photogenic award and an award for the highest Queen Scene poster score. She was also given awards for best personal interview, highest onstage presentation score, and best dressed award.

Teen Miss Congeniality was then awarded to Teen Miss Pioneer Claire Gendron, along with the volunteerism award. Teen Miss Williams County 1st runner-up was then awarded to Teen Miss Edon Clara Reitzel before announcing this year’s Teen Miss Williams County. That title was given to Teen Miss Montpelier Cianna Shoup.

Last up was the Miss Williams County award portion. The best smile award went to Miss Edon Alexis Dulle, along with an award for the talent portion of the competition. Miss Bryan Halle Six was given the best hair award, Miss photogenic award, and Miss congeniality award. She was also given awards for the best personal interview, best onstage presentation, and best dressed award.


Miss Pioneer Trinity Conrad won the award for the best Queen Scene poster. Miss Edon Alexis Dulle obtained the award for best talent. Miss Edgerton Ella Miler was awarded for her volunteerism, and also won the beautiful inside award before being announced as this year’s Miss Williams County 1st runner-up. Miss Bryan Halle Six was then crowned as the 2024 Miss Williams County.

Before the pageant came to a close, there were two more awards to give out. Little Miss Pioneer Emmi Burt was given a special plaque for raising the most money for the 50/50. Finally, Little Miss Edgerton Alexis Barton received the People’s Choice Award. Following the receiving of the awards, each of the Queens stayed on stage for pictures.
