Rachel R. Peconge, 45, of Goshen, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Adventist Health Simi Valley Hospital.
She was born on December 1, 1979 in Napoleon, Ohio. Rachel graduated from North Central High School and attended the University of Toledo.
On March 15, 2013 she married Matthew E. Peconge in Fort Wayne, Indiana and he survives. She enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events and watching Hallmark movies. Rachel loved her children tremendously.
She is survived by her parents Martin R. and Julie M. (Geesey) Galloway of Kunkle; husband of 11 years, Matthew; children Ethan R. Steinke of Columbus, Ohio, Carter R. Steinke of Edon, Makenna R. Peconge of Leo, Indiana and Kellen M. Peconge of Leo; brother Joseph R. Galloway of Kunkle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Rachel was preceded in death by her mother Tina L. Galloway, paternal grandparents Ross & Mary Galloway, maternal grandpa Thomas Geesey and Aunt Rebecca Grant.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Edon Athletic Boosters.
