One glance around the room at her party, told all. The room was filled with loving people sharing their favorite memories with Rose.

Rose King is a native of Williams County. She attended Kunkle School before coming to North Central. Rose started her career at the main branch of the Bryan Library.

She started out shelving books in the adult department. Her leadership abilities shown through and by the next year went on to being Library Assistant and then on to reference assistant.

Rose says she doesn’t just love one thing about the library because she has been really blessed.

Rose states one of her favorite parts of the working at the library though, is summer reading with the children. She also has a special place in her heart for the senior citizens.

She loves making sure the Senior Citizens are cared for whether it’s at the Senior Center or at the library.

A third aspect of her job that she loves is her Library Director as well as the management team.
