Roselyn “Rosie” Carroll (1930-2022)

Roselyn Grace “Rosie” Carroll, age 92, of Stryker, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Evergreen Manor in Montpelier.

She was born on March 31, 1930, the daughter of  Charles and Ilva (Fenicle) Radabaugh.

On December 14, 1946 she married Homer Carroll, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Rosie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stryker where she had also taught Sunday School and Bible School.

She was also in the Ladies Missionary Group and the Child Evangelism Fellowship Club and had visited the Cherry Street Mission in Toledo on several occasions. She had also been a member of the Pulaski Garden Club.

Surviving are three sons, Donald (Kay) Carroll of Stryker, Scott (Jodie) Carroll of Stryker and Steve (Jennifer) Carroll of Granger, Indiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Carol Gyde of Taylor, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Charlotte Carroll, and both parents.

Visitation for Rosie will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Stryker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, also at the church, with Pastor Sean Ingram, officiating. Interment will follow in the Boynton Cemetery, near Stryker.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the First Baptist Church or the First Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
