YOU’D BETTER WATCH OUT … Throughout the Village of Edon, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ~ decorations line the streets, sparkling lights fill local storefronts ~ all in anticipation of Santa’s arrival just a few short days from now! The Fourth Annual community-wide Hometown Christmas celebration, centered on the Village’s Festival of Lights, gets going November 25, 2012 ~ the Sunday following Thanksgiving ~ with the traditional Lighted Christmas Parade. Stepping off at 6:30 p.m., dazzling entries both big and small will gradually make their way from the Edon Schools Bus Barn (Webster Street), down West Indiana and North Michigan Streets, passed excited viewers of all ages to reach its destination ~ Walz Park’s Festival of Lights. There, Jolly Old St. Nicholas himself will visit with eager young boys and girls inside the Historic Depot before heading back to the North Pole.
