Conner Hicks got a win in first singles for Wauseon 6-0, 6-2 over Andrew Fillmore. In second singles Derek Zimmerman defeated Thomas Koville 6-0, 6-2. In third singles Jacob Koch downed Wauseon’s Evan Kost in three set with scores of 6-4, 0-6, 1-6. Wauseon’s double teams were both defeated as in first doubles Aaron Spieles and Tristan Uribes were able to just go one set that ended in a score of 7-5. In second doubles Taylor Wilcoxon and Brady Blaylock were losers to Ashton Barton and Steven Kast with scores of 4-6, 2-6.
Wauseon 3, Archbold 2
Jereme Rupp won in first singles for the Streaks over Conner Hick of Wauseon with scores of 6-1, 6-0. In second singles Derek Zimmerman got a win for the Indians defeating Erik Short 6-0, 6-2 while in third singles Evan Kost defeated Archbold’s Josh Kidder 5-7, 6-4, 6-4. In doubles action Aaron Spieles and Tristan Uribes of Wauseon were 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 winners over Alex Short and Luke McQuade. Archbold’s second double team of Lucas Rupp and Michael Short were winners 6-4, 6-4 over Wauseon’s Taylor Wilcoxon and Brady Blaylock.

Wauseon 9, Hilltop 2
The Indians got the non-league win combining for 11 hits. After taking a 3-0 lead in the first Wauseon added a run in the third and fourth innings Hilltop scored their two runs in the top of the sixth as the Indians answered with four more in their half of the sixth. Leading the way offensively for Wauseon was Alisa Shelt who connected for three hits driving in two runs. Ally Tefft’s two hits scored two more runs for Wauseon and Hayley Chamberlain’s two singles drove in a pair of runs. Adding one RBI apiece for the Tribe were Oliviah Banister, Regan Spadafore and Erin Douglass. Shelt pitched the entire game giving up six hits and striking out eight. The Cadets’ runs came on a RBI from Allie Schmitt and one from Karissa Crisenbery. A. Wyse went all six innings for Hilltop giving up nine runs on 11 hits while striking out three.
Edon 3, Stryker 1
After a 2-1 Edon lead to close the first inning the Bombers added one more run in the fifth and held on for the BBC win. Runyon slapped two singles for Edon. Also adding one hit each were Sara Hiller, Faith Livensparger and Zoe Neubig. Livensparger’s single drove in one Bomber run. Stryker got a RBI from Kaitlyn Wonders and Miranda Pegorch had all three hit for Stryker. Jordan Runyon and Shalyn Mason shared pitching duties for Edon. Mason threw for five innings giving up two hits and striking out 10. Runyon gave up one hit and struck out one. Miranda Maynard went the whole way for Stryker giving up five hits.
Napoleon 4, Archbold 1
The Streaks were shut out until they were able to cross the plate in the top of the sixth inning in their non-league loss to the Wildcats. Archbold’s (10-4) Peyton Dickman was two for three at the plate. Takeing the loss for Archbold was Payton Robinson who gave up four runs on 11 hits and striking out seven.
Liberty Center 8, Pettisville 3
The Blackbirds got two runs in the third and one in the fourth but accumulated just five hits as they fell short to the Tigers in a non-conference game. Mallory Riegsecker finished with a double and Amber Klopfenstein had two singles for Pettisville. Kyra Behnfeldt and Marissa Beck hit one single apiece. Behnfeldt took the loss as she gave up eight runs on 10 hits while striking out one.
Patrick Henry 6, Montpelier 0
The Locomotives fell to 1-11 overall and 0-5 in the NWOAL with the league loss to the Patriots. A trio of Montpelier finished one for three with doubles including Erin Prekop, Landri McKelvey and Alexis Nemire. Nemire suffered the defeat on the mound pitching 4.1 innings and allowing six hits while striking out three.

Edon 11, Stryker 3
Landon Bloir notched the BBC win as he allowed three runs on seven hits and fanned 13 Panther batters. Brody Schock took the loss pitching three innings giving up 11 runs on eight hits and striking out five. Offensively for Edon Preston Klingler was the hitting machine. He connected for single and a double that produced three RBI. Hayden Runyan hit in two runs with a double. The Panthers were led by two doubles from Colten Benson and a single and double from Chad Ruffer.
Archbold 5, Paulding 4
Archbold scored two run right out of the gate to go up 2-0 after one. Paulding scored one in the fourth and three in the fifth to go on top 4-2. The Streaks answered the challenge with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to grab the one-run win. Seth Mayer was two for three from the plate including a double and two RBI. Toby Walker and Derek Walker were each two for four. Ben Bucklew was one for two with a RBI and Lathon Babcock was one for one with a triple. The Streaks used two pitchers in the game. Bucklew remained upbeaten in five games throwing five innings allowing four runs on three hits and striking out six. Brandon Miller came in in relief and allowed one run on three hits with three strikeouts.

The Tigers scored one run each in the second, third and fourth innings to steal a non-league win agains the visiting Blackbirds. Pettisville’s Christian Barhite was two for two with a double. Dillon King and John Rufenacht finished one for three. Pettisville’s Evan King took the loss on the mound giving up three runs on four hits.

The Vikings grabbed a non-league win when they travelled to take on the 2-13 Eagles. Evergreen was led by Alec Truckor with three singles, Phoenix VanOstrand had two singles, Nick Etue finished with a double and RBI, Levi Carson with a single and a RBI, Bryce Hudik with a single and two RBI, Sam Lubinski with a single and Noah Eisel and John Ruth with one RBI each. North Central got to singles from Remington Beck, singles from Steven Williams and Michael Pryslak and a single and RBI from Hayden Haas. Teagen Pinkelman got the complete game victory for the Vikings. He gave up one run on four hits and struck out three. Layne Cogswell and Colton Schmunk were on the mound for the Eagles. Cogswell lasted just one inning as he allowed four runs on three hits. Schmunk replace him in the second and went the rest of the way giving up two runs on six hits.
