BOYS VARSITY BOWLING

Wauseon 2349, Rossford 2129

In a non-league match, the Wauseon Indians made short order of the Rossford Bulldogs thanks in large part from a 488 two-game series from Nic Kearney. Kearney, continued burning up the lanes with a games of 259, 229. Chance Buhrer also had two games breaking the 200 plateau with twin games of 202, 202. Jadon Meeker broke the 200 mark for the Tribe with a first game total of 213.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL

BBC Tournament

Fayette 44, North Central 35

7th Grade – The Eagles won the tournament and finished the season with a 14-3 record.

Scorers for the Eagles included: Tucker Beres 11 and Mason Sanford, Sammy Wheeler, Zach Hayes, and Colton Hicks all scored 5 pts each. Colin Patten added four.

FRESHMAN BASKETBALL

Stryker 28, Pettisville 26 (OT)

After the Panthers jumped out to an 18-11 half-time lead, Pettisvlle clawed their way back to send the game into overtime at 26-26. The Panthers needed to score just one basket in the extra frame though as Pettisville was held scoreless. Mitchell Avina led Pettisville 11 as the Blackbirds’ record fell to 7-9 and 4-6 in BBC play.
