Tuesday, February 7 Scoring Summaries

BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Ayersville 66, Edon 32

The Pilots used a 63% effort at the foul line for 19 points that helped them to the lopsided win over Edon.  The Bombers scored just 19 points through the last three quarters that also enabled the Pilots to dominate. Braden Miller led Edon with 13 points while Austin Kiess added seven.

Hilltop 52, Delta 31

After clinging to a 12-10 lead after one quarter, the Cadets rolled to the non-conference win as they improved to 16-1. Quinn Smith led Hilltop with 18 points while Tim Maneval added 15. Peyton Phillips led Delta (1-16) with nine points.

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Montpelier 44, Emmanuel Christian 43

The Locos used a 19-9 fourth quarter burst to squeak out the one-point victory. Jaelyn Lyons led Montpelier with 13 points while Lauren Cooley added 11. With the win, the Locos improve to 7-12 on the season.

GIRLS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL

Defiance 31, Montpelier 26

The Bulldogs carried a four-point lead through the third quarter then hung on for the win.  The Locos were led by Trinity Nichols with eight points and Kimme Engels with six.

7th grade – in a second round BBC tournament game the Edon Bombers used a 17-1 first quarter run as they dominated. Zakkai Kaufmann led Pettisville with 11 points while D. Gallehue led the Bombers with 21.
