Scoring Summary, Monday, November 28, 2016:

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Tinora 50, Wauseon 46

The Indians fell to 0-2 in the early season with the four point loss. Wauseon was 15 of 49 from the field and 12 of 14 from the foul line. Karli Penrod was the leading scorer for the Indians connecting on five two-point shots and a perfect seven for seven from the foul line for 17 points. Brianna Castellano also finished in double figures with 12 points including six points from three-point range.

Archbold 86, Continental 24


The Bluestreaks erupted for 50 first half points as they rolled to the easy non-league win. Archbold’s four double-point scorers included: Kierstyn Repp with 16, Lily Krieger with 15, Andi Peterson with 14 and Emmie Peterson with 12.

Swanton 44, Delta 41

In a non-league game between the two NWOAL foes, the Bulldogs claimed victory on their home court.  Nelson led Swanton with 19 points. She was 9 of 13 from the floor. Taylor and Christensen contributed with eight points apiece. 29 of Delta’s points were tallied from Abby Freeman and Mattie Mattimore who finished with 15 and 14 points respectively.

Stryker 56, Edon 40

Hilltop 37, Fayette 26

In an early season BBC contest, the Cadets downed the Eagles behind the 13-point performance by Felicity Jackson. The Cadets had scoring contributions from seven players included besides Jackson were: Ariana Brown with seven points, Aubrey Wyse and Abby Schaper with five points, Molly Rocsch with four, Becca Miller with two and Sydni Rivera with one.  Fayette was led by Mataya Rufenacht with eight points, Janaya Hibboard with seven and Alexus Ball with five.
