GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER
Wauseon 8, Bowling Green 1
The Indians used five goals by Jadelyn Vasvery as they advanced to the Division II tournament at Lake High School. Other Wauseon goals were scored by Avery Giguere on an assist from Vasvery, Torri Bost and Maya Suarez.
Bryan 4, Maumee 0
The Golden Bears won a Division II sectional title with the victory. Bryan had goals from four different players. Seniors Emily Gorzelanczyk and Delaney Miley, Junior Grace Voigt, and Sophomore Kayla Arnold led Bryan to the win. Assists came from Meggie Voigt and Grace Voigt.

DIVISION II at OTTAWA PARK
Wauseon’s Kyle Vernot finished third overall while Joshua Lowry ran in 16th place and Michael Cheezen finished 19th as the three under classmen led the Indians’ team to a regional qualification. Christian Laging-Suarez and Aaron Beck, both seniors, helped Wauseon’s cause as well with 24th and 27th place finishes respectively. Vernot was only six seconds behind the winner as he turned in a time of 16:16.2.
DIVISION III at OTTAWA PARK
Delta’s Maverick Wright, with his fourth place finish in 17:09.7, qualified for the regional meet. Overall the Panthers finished 10th as a team to bring their season to an end. Other area qualifiers included: Jared Redinger, 17:27.2, (Montpelier), Clayton Pheils, 17:32.1, and Trey DeCant, 17:32.3, (Fayette) and Jason Vassar, 17:40.1, (North Central).

DIVISION III at OWENS COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Evergreen girls team qualified for regionals with a fourth place finish. The Vikings top finisher was Sarah Schwan running 9th in 22:20.53.
DIVISION III at OTTAWA PARK
The Pettisville Blackbirds claimed a district title with 35 points as they advanced to the regional meet. Three of the Blackbirds runners: Alexa Leppelmeier, Elizabeth Sauder and Nichole Foor paced Pettisville with a 3rd , 4th , and 5th place finish respectively to lead the Blackbirds to the district crown. Gwynn Riley of Archbold will represent the Bluestreaks at the regionals as she ran 10th in the race. In the other Division III race Montpelier’s Jacqueline Carlson advanced with a 15th place finish.
