Spangler Candy Company Donates To Inclusive Playground In Bryan

DONATION … The Spangler Candy Company generously donated to the Lincoln Park Inclusive Playground, which is being built on the former Lincoln Elementary School site! A ground-breaking ceremony is planned for Friday, September 29, with the grand opening expected next spring. Once constructed, the playground will provide children and families of all physical, mental, and social abilities throughout Williams County and the surrounding area the opportunity to learn, play, and grow together. Pictured during the check presentation are left to right Spangler Candy Company Chairman and CEO Kirk Vashaw, Bryan Area Foundation President and CEO Amy Miller, Bryan Parks and Recreation Board Member Paula Kline, Spangler Candy Company employee Nathan Buntain, playground enthusiast Callen Buntain, Spangler Candy Company Vice-President of Human Capital Niki Mosier, Spangler Candy Company President Bill Martin, and the City of Bryan, Director of Parks and Recreation Ben Dominique.
