Wauseon 20 Delta 0 (5 inn.)
Payton Albright connected for three home runs and had five RBIs as Wauseon rolled to a 20-0 win over Delta in their NWOAL opener. It was Albright’s second three home run game of the season and she now holds the school record for home runs in a season with seven. The Indians (9-1, 1-0 in NWOAL) had 21 hits on the night with Macee Schang totaling three hits (two doubles, one single), Chelsie Raabe was 4-5, Alexis Haury went 3-5, and Jayli Vasquez had two doubles and five runs batted in.
Bryan 5 Swanton 2
Bryan pounded out 10 hits as they opened their NWOAL schedule with a 5-2 win at Swanton. Scout Smith paced Bryan offensively by going 3-4 with two singles, a double, and two RBIs while Bre Long added two doubles and two RBIs. Bre Williams took the loss in the circle for the Bulldogs (6-1, 0-1 in NWOAL) who collected seven hits on the night.
North Central 9 Edgerton (8 inn.)
The Eagles rallied for three runs in the seventh to tie the game and scored on an error in the eighth to get a 9-8 walk-off win. Makinzy King had a homer and a double as part of a four-hit and three RBI night for North Central. Noelle Ritter went deep for Edgerton as she finished the night 3-4 with three RBIs.
Holgate 8 Pettisville 4
Holgate grabbed a 5-0 lead and were able to hold off the Blackbirds to get an 8-4 road win. Elisabeth Rochefort, Alli King, and Mya Meck recorded two hits each for Pettisville.

VARSITY BASEBALL
Bryan 13 Swanton 3 (6 inn.)
Clayton Rupp had three hits, two of them doubles, and racked up four RBIs to lead Bryan to the win at Swanton in their NWOAL opener. Mikey Wolff also had three hits for Bryan (3-6, 1-0 in NWOAL) with Taysen Deckrosh and Dylan Dominique each driving in three runs. Breven Deckrosh went all six innings on the mound to get the win for the Bears as he allowed just one hit and struck out 15. Ryan Oshea and Kaden Curtis accounted for the Swanton (2-8, 0-1) hits with a single apiece.
Wauseon 8 Delta 2
The Wauseon bats were quiet for the first five innings before they exploded for five runs in the sixth and three in the seventh as they pulled away for an 8-2 win. Eli Delgado and Easton Delgado tallied two hits each for Wauseon (3-4, 1-0 in NWOAL) with Clay Stump and Cameron Cantu each adding two RBIs. The Panthers (2-6, 0-1) put together eight hits as a team with Hunter Hamilton and Jayce Helminiak accounting for the two Delta RBIs on the night.
Evergreen 7 Archbold 5

A three-run second gave the Vikings the early lead and a four-run fourth inning put them in the lead for good after the Bluestreaks had tied the game as Evergreen (4-4, 1-0 in NWOAL) opened NWOAL with a win. RJ Shunk had three hits to lead Evergreen and the duo Zach Laver and Landen Vance each drove in two runs. The Archbold (7-2, 0-1) batters were held to just four singles on the night with DJ Newman leading the Streaks with two RBIs.
Pettisville 5 Holgate 1
Pettisville took advantage of Holgate miscues and scored four runs in the first inning of their 5-1 non-league win. It was a balanced attack for Pettisville with five different players recording a hit and Gideon Myers and Nate Kein each had an RBI. Issac St. John pitched a complete game for the Blackbirds as he allowed one run on two hits in seven innings of work.
Edgerton 8 Hilltop 5
Hilltop was able to take a 5-4 lead after three innings, but Edgerton put three runs on the board in the fifth to take the lead and go on to an 8-5 win. Creed Muehlfeld and Nate Swank each had two hits for the Bulldogs with Gannon Ripke, Warren Nichols, and Swank tallying one RBI each. Ethan Varney had a four-hit game for Hilltop while Raace Haynes and Connor Schlosser each drove in two runs.

Tinora 20 Edon 0 (5 inn.)
Eight runs in the first inning and 12 runs in the third were more than enough offense for Tinota in a 20-0 win at Edon. Six Bombers each singled to account for the Edon hits on the night.

MVCD 3 Archbold 2
Archbold picked a win by forfeit in 3rd Singles and won in 2nd Doubles as they were edged by Maumee Valley Country Day 3-2. The Archbold win in 2nd Doubles came from the team of Kaiden Keiser and Luke Rosebrook who captured a 7-5, 7-6 win.
Bryan 3 Maumee 2
Bryan lost two of three in singles but swept the doubles matches as they knocked off previously unbeaten Maumee. Jay Fortner earned the lone Bryan point in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Braden Tucker in their 1st Singles match. In 1st Doubles, Nathan Hess/Craig Jackson were 6-4, 6-2 winners while Aiden Andrews/Caleb McCashen won in 2nd Doubles 6-3, 6-2.
