The Williams County Board of Elections recently alerted residents that two tax levies that were supposed to appear on the Stryker Ballot Style were inadvertently left off.

These issues were in regard to a renewal tax levy for the purpose of fire protection and a tax replacement levy for the park district.

According to a Board of Elections representative, the issue affected 72 individuals who had already voted. Steps were immediately taken to correct the issue once it was discovered and all ballot types for this area now include these two issues.

Voters who had already cast their vote were sent a supplemental ballot in the mail the following day after the issue was discovered, with some already received back to the Board of Elections office.
