State Patrol Investigating Fatal Crash On State Route 795 In Perrysburg

Perrysburg – The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on State Route 795 at Glenwood Road in Perrysburg Township. The crash occurred on August 15, 2024 at approximately 12:09 P.M.

42-year-old Lisa Carlin of Millbury was operating a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on State Route 795. 20-year-old Jackson D. Dusseau of Maumee was operating a 2014 International commercial tractor/trailer outfit eastbound on State Route 795 and was stopped at the red traffic light at Glenwood Road.

Ms. Carlin failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of the commercial trailer. The front seat passenger of the International truck was 31-year-old Justin P. Jeko of Toledo.

Mr. Dusseau and Mr. Jeko were transported to Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital for minor injuries. Ms. Carlin was transported to Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

All three individuals involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The crash is still under investigation at this time.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Perrysburg Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS, Rossford Police Department, Rossford Fire, ODOT, Wright Tire and Auto and Pat and Son Towing.
