Stephanie Carol Swihart, age 46, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 7:44 A.M. on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient, after a brief illness.
Stephanie was a private home care giver and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was also devoted to her family and enjoyed the outdoors, camping and singing.
Stephanie Carol Swihart was born on August 18, 1971, in Grundy, Virginia, the daughter of Carl and Christine J. (Boyd) Belcher, Sr. She married Keith A. Swihart on August 21, 2011, in Bryan and he survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons, Brandon M. Caryer, of Bryan, Deion J. McKinsey, of Bryan, Terrell M. McKinsey, of Stryker, Ohio, Caleb A. Swihart, of Bryan, and Dustin Swihart, in South Carolina; one daughter, Brianna P. Lopez, of Bryan; five grandchildren; her parents, Carl Belcher, Sr., of Bryan, and Christine J. Zehr, of Fort Wayne; one brother, Carl (Christine) Belcher, Jr., of Napoleon, Ohio; two sisters, Jennifer (Christopher) Ovelgonne and Marsha Belcher, both of Bryan; three nephews; three nieces; two great-nephews; and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by one son, David Allen Belcher; paternal grandparents, Major and Loretta Belcher; maternal grandparents, Walter and Corrine Boyd; and a cousin, Josie E. Kole.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2018, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Jeff Sheldon officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery.
