Those in the Stryker School District celebrated Homecoming Season this past weekend. The event took place on Friday, January 24th at 5:30 p.m. before both the junior varsity and varsity basketball games versus Holgate. The theme for this year was “Beauty and the Beast” and the colors were ice blue, gold and dark blue.
This year’s freshman attendants were Anna Donovan and Walker Atkinson. Anna is the daughter of Abby and Mike Donovan. She has three older brothers and one older sister.
Anna is currently involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FCA, and student council. Her hobbies include sports, reading, sleeping and hanging out with friends. After school Anna plans on going to college, buying a dog and getting herself a house.
Walker Atkinson is the son of Holly and Elbie Atkinson. He has three older siblings and enjoys watching basketball in his free time. Walker is involved in football, basketball, baseball, and track.
Walker would like to visit Mars because he thinks it is cool, and his future plans are to go to school for aerospace engineering, get married, have kids and retire.
The sophomore class attendants were Addalee Fulk and Vance Chapple. Addalee is the daughter of Coleen and Shaun Fulk. She has four sisters and is involved with basketball, volleyball, softball, and student council.
Her hobbies include hanging out with family, friends, her boyfriend, and watching edits of Paige Bueckers. Her future plans are to go to UConn, and either be a media manager or be in the band. From there she would like to be an actress or makeup artist.
Vance is the son of Christie and Wesly Werts. Vance is one of four siblings and is involved in football, basketball, and track. His hobbies include piano, playing games and weightlifting.
His future plans are to attend barber school in either Cleveland or Chicago. From there he wants to open his own barber shop somewhere busy and get married while he’s at it.
The junior class attendants were Tayegen Deming and Rustin Nafziger. Tayegen is the daughter of Amber and Tommy Deming. She is involved with Spanish and Art Club.
She enjoys sleeping, going to the movies and hanging out with friends. Tayegen’s future plans include moving out and traveling with her cats.
Rustin is the son of Brandi and Jake Nafziger. He has two younger siblings and is involved with football, track and FFA. His hobbies include building car models, watching movies, hanging out with friends and playing video games.
Rustin’s future plans include going to the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and eventually become a funeral director.

The senior class attendants were Haylee Parsons and Evan Dickinson. Haylee is the daughter of Laura Livengood. She has two siblings and is involved with student council and football/basketball cheer.
She often enjoys listening to music and hanging out with friends. Her future plans include joining the workforce, traveling and starting a family.
Evan is the son of Mandy and Sam Dickinson. He has two siblings and is involved in basketball. He likes to spend his time playing guitar, playing video games and hanging out with friends. Evan’s future plans are to travel, find a good job and start a family.
Last year’s homecoming king and queen were present. 2024 Queen Adysen Andres and King Jacob Cadwell were introduced to everyone. Adysen is the daughter or Heather Kerr and Adam Andres. Her hobbies include watching movies, hanging out with friends and her boyfriend, along with playing with her dog.
Currently, Adysen is attending BGSU and is majoring in inclusive early childhood education. Her favorite memory of high school is playing volleyball with her friends.
Jacob is the son of Heather and Jason Cadwell. His hobbies include working out and spending time with friends and his girlfriend.

He is currently attending Northwest State, and his favorite memory of high school is messing around with friends and playing sports.
It was then that the Class of 2037 was represented by Mackenzie Wyse and Bennett Shipman. Mackenzie is the daughter of Laurin and Josh Wyse.
She enjoys swimming, playing games, playing with her siblings/cousins, watching sports, going to church, having sleep overs, and going on vacations. When she grows up she would like to work at Wyse Equipment.
Bennett is the son of Andi and Tyler Shipman. In his free time, he enjoys playing football with his brother, spending time with his family and going on vacation with his family. When he grows up, he would like to be a construction worker.
At that point, the new homecoming queen and king for 2025 was introduced as Tara Noble and Jacob Myers.
Homecoming Queen Tara is the daughter of Dayna and Scott Noble. She has an older sibling and is involved in student council, Spanish and art club, archery club, volleyball, football cheer, basketball cheer, and horseback riding.

He hobbies include archery, teaching her dogs tricks and learning new languages. Her plans for the future are to join the Army to become a translator.
Homecoming King Jacob is the son of Keith and Janet Myers. Jacob has two siblings and is involved with football, golf, basketball, track, baseball, FCA, and FFA. His hobbies include sports. Jacob’s plans for the future include going to Heidelberg University and see where his life takes him.
Following introduction of the 2025 Homecoming Court, all of the members took their seat in the designated area for photos.
