BRYAN: February 18, 2014 – The North Central Lady Eagles and the Stryker Lady Panthers are certainly not strangers to each other. These BBC rivals play each other twice a year, and on February 18, they squared off again in the semifinals of the Bryan D-IV Sectionals.
It is common knowledge that the secret to success in Stryker is a stifling pressure defense that not only chokes out the offense of the opponent, but also creates turnovers which are quickly converted into points on transition. The Lady Panthers ramped up their defense early against the Lady Eagles, using their opportunistic defense to rack up a 64-23 win.
No other statistical information from this game was made available by either school.
Stryker moves on to take on the state ranked Pettisville Lady Blackbirds for the Sectional title on February 22.
