BRYAN: February 28, 2014 – The first contest of the Bryan D-IV Sectionals on February 28 saw the #1 seeded Edgerton Bulldogs facing off against the Stryker Panthers for the title. The Panthers opened their 2013-14 campaign against these same Dogs, dropping a 52-46 decision in The Cage.

Stryker got off on the wrong foot in this game, spotting Edgerton an early 9-0 lead, and had to play catch-up the rest of the way out. The Bulldogs, despite having the big edge early, were never able to run away with the game as the Panther Pack settled in and began chipping away at the lead.

Edgerton appeared to be finally be pulling away with a pair of threes in the fourth period, but even that 9-point edge was insufficient. Stryker cut the deficit to just three before having to give fouls. Edgerton capitalized on their opportunities at the foul line to send the Panthers home on a 54-43 decision that was closer than it appeared.

No individual stats were received pursuant to this game.
