FAYETTE: April 24– The Stryker Panthers traveled to Fayette on April 24 for a BBC showdown, blanking the host Fayette Eagles 2-0 behind the 3 hit pitching of Junior Parker Ruffer.
Offensively for the Panthers, Brody Shock provided the spark to lift Stryker, powering out a double and driving in 1 run; Jacob Hancock received credit for the remaining RBI off of a single in the game. Also recording hits for the Panthers was Parker Ruffer and Colton Benson.
For the Eagles in the loss, Koby Biddix went the distance, giving up 4 hits in the loss. Biddix sat down 4 batters in the loss while allowing just 2 base on balls in the game.
