Suzetta May “Susie” Strayer, 66 years, of Alvordton, Ohio passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. Susie was born February 17, 1953 in Montpelier, Ohio the daughter of the late James V. and Evelyn M. (Reed) Fielitz.
She worked at Transformer as a spot welder for 11 years. Susie previously worked at Glies Orchard in Hillsdale, Michigan. In her free time, Susie enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and sitting by the lake. She especially cherished her time with her family.
Surviving are her six children, Nicole Gay of Waldron, Michigan, John Strayer of Pittsford, Michigan, Bobby (Heather) Gibbs of Hillsdale, Michigan, Kenny (Jen) Kope of Hillsdale, Michigan, Gary Lee (Becky) Stemen of North Adams, Michigan, Doug (Ann) Preston of Hillsdale, Michigan; five grandchildren, Daryanne (Keith) Osborn, Myleigh Osborn, Jaden Gibbs, Cyrus Kope and Lincoln Kope; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Osborn, Kaiser Osborn, and Ariana Osborn; brother, David (Dorothy Carr) Hill of Alvordton; sister, Tammy Benoit of Alvordton and special friend, Vandardist Black of Pittsford, Michigan. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Fielitz; sister, Sandra Jackson.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Suzetta May “Susie” Strayer will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Pioneer Lake, Pioneer, Ohio.
