Those in grades 6-12 are invited to fix your broken heart with frosting at swanton library. Wear anything but red or pink and come to the library from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, February 17, for an afternoon celebrating all the things Valentine’s Day isn’t. We’ll have a shooting range, funny anti-romance videos, broken heart cookies to fix with various kinds of frosting, and a piñata heart filled with candy that will have to be broken! Everyone is welcome, single or not. Registration is requested; go online, call, or stop by the library. This event is FREE!
It’s all about candy this month, so on Saturday, February 20 from 10:30 am to 11:15 am, get ready to have a tasty time! We’ll read sweet stories, play some gooey games, make a candy craft, and of course do plenty of taste-testing.
