U-HAUL … A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the new U-Haul Dealership. The event was attended by Khris Sines (Owner) and representatives from both the chamber of commerce and the village.
DOLLAR GENERAL MARKET … A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the new Dollar General Market. Dollar General employees and representatives from both the chamber of commerce and the village attended the event.

Three businesses celebrated ribbon-cutting ceremonies in the Village of Edgerton on Thursday, August 15th.
One of those businesses was The Studio, owned by Chrissi and Brian Batt.The Studio (formerly Studio 34) is a new meeting place for rent and also serves as a photography studio. The couple recently renovated the space, turning it into an event center.
The Studio can be rented on any day of the week to host various events. The event center is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, TV, guest Wi-Fi, prep tables, and a wine fridge.
It has a capacity of 92 people, with eight round tables, four long tables, and four tall pub tables, along with a choice of black, white, or blush tablecloths. Chrissi mentioned that they continue to operate their photography business at the same location.
The rental rates for The Studio are $35.00 per hour from Monday to Thursday, and $60.00 per hour from Friday to Sunday, with a minimum rental duration of 2 hours, including setup and teardown time.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony also took place on for U-Haul. The U-Haul is located at 233 E Morrison Street in Edgerton, also known to many locals as Fleo’s Flicks Drive-In.
The owner, Khris Sines, explained that the U-Haul is a dealership and that more inventory will be available soon. The company started up two months ago and is open seven days a week.
The third ribbon cutting was held at the newly established Dollar General Market. The store officially commenced operations on July 16, 2024.
Significantly larger than its previous location, the new facility spans 12,687 square feet and offers an expanded range of products including personal care, beauty, home and garden, electronics, and an extended selection of grocery items.
The store is outfitted with two traditional checkout lanes and four self-checkout lanes to facilitate efficient customer service. Operating hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week.
