This past weekend, Wauseon High School students took to the stage to present the beloved and laugh-out-loud production of “Shrek the Musical”.

The musical was held in the Wauseon High School Auditorium with showtimes on Friday, April 4th at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5th at 7:00 p.m., and a matinee performance on Sunday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m.

Based on the Oscar winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek the Musical transforms the classic fairy tale into a fun-filled stage adventure.

With an unlikely hero, a sharp-witted Donkey, and a fiercely independent princess, the story challenges traditional happily-ever-afters, and reminds audiences that true beauty comes from within.

The production showcased the impressive talent of Wauseon High School’s students, with each performer bringing energy and creativity to the stage.

From the lead roles to the ensemble, the cast delivered a fun and engaging show that had audiences laughing and cheering throughout the weekend.

Visually and musically, the show was a standout. With colorful sets, detailed costumes, and imaginative staging, the performance transported the audience into a whimsical fairy tale world.

The music, choreography, and humor combined to create a memorable experience that was met with enthusiastic applause.

A huge congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and production team for their incredible efforts in making “Shrek the Musical” a success.
