BRYAN – With the score tied at 9-9 after six innings, Jacob Uran came through at the plate for Bryan, delivering a single in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Bryce Welling for the Golden Bears to claim a thrilling 10-9 walk-off win over Montpelier at Sumpter Field.

Uran collected three singles and drove in three runs to lead the Golden Bears (5-4) to the victory. Cam Bukowski singled twice and drove in two runs, while Welling also had two hits, including a double.

Zaine Stull led Montpelier (5-2) with two singles and a pair of RBIs. Griffin Cooley added a double as the Locos had seven hits.

Quinn Green notched the win in relief for the Golden Bears. He went the final four-plus innings, allowing one run on three hits with five strikeouts.
