Edgerton, April 22, 2022: On April 29, 2022, at 10 am the Village of Edgerton will hold its Arbor Day celebration.

The VOE tree commission will be planting the tree, a weeping cherry and the VOE would like to extend a special invitation to the community.

The tree will be placed at the Edgerton Village Townhall, in honor of Mabel Day. Mabel Day was an avid gardener who loved planting trees and flowers through out the village.

Her tree of choice was either a flowering crabapple or weeping cherry.

“We would like to take this opportunity to recognize her service and contribution to our community”, said Edgerton Mayor Bob Day.

Edgerton, OH is a Tree City USA, a designation received from the Arbor Day Foundation, in honor of their commitment to effective urban forest management.
